Developments in Liquidity Management and Accounting for Financial Instruments (FASB Fair Value project)Regulators recently issued new guidelines for liquidity management and with so many financial institutions flush with liquidity right now, it’s definitely a hot topic. We’ll examine methods that ALM and portfolio managers are using to gauge their liquidity and measuring the steep cost of excess liquidity in this low rate environment.
